based on the 60d and the 7d that I have owned, the 60d is actually better in low light. a lot better.

Sometimes I secretly wish I had a 7D instead of the 60D. The only thing that keeps me from upgrading is the size. My 5D is big enough, sometimes I like going light. The 7D is significantly bigger/heavier.

But even then, sometimes an DSLR is too big for your everyday to-go camera, like last week at the dentist, my 4s does really well!

i've really tried to resist the urge to make the compulsory "OMG i just ordered my 60D" post, but...

OMG I just ordered my 60D! :D in fact, I just got the shipping notification email from Canon.

i've been lurking in this thread for a while now (even posed earlier about advantages to upgrading from the XSi I currently shoot with) so i'm looking forward to participating in this thread (as well as finally having the requisite hardware.)

No, seriously, in the US, the equipment is like 30 years newer looking and they tend to keep the sharp metal plier things in the back...your dental care is socialized along with health in Canada right?

It is bringing back nightmares of the crazy dentist I had as a child who liked to pull teeth because he was bored and never wore gloves.

Anyone that puts a drill or rotating thingy, to your teeth, is scary. I say we burn them, like witches.

So, I'm waiting for my 365 to dry. It might be close to midnight, before I can even get the shot. It may not even be dry, by then. But, we'll cross that road when we get to it. In the meantime, I got itchy to shoot something. The blue logo is a company that I worked for, 11yrs ago, in their pharmaceutical division before they divested it. The were such a diversified company. They took care of their employees, too. Jeffrey Dahmer's dad worked at the New York fine chemicals plant. I was able to actually look him up, in the company address book. Spooky. Bleh.

It's a shame it was dark by the time I got it, but I received my new (to me) 24-105 today! I know it's not anything special, but here's my first shot with it. :p
