Canon 60D Users, Unite! (3)

Rainy day so couldn't get out and get any practice in on day 2 of having my 60D so I had to do something to lean all the great things this camera will do. This is what I came up with.
Comments very welcome as I have never tried anything like this before.

60d stupid question of the day. So yesterday I went to use the AEB mode to do an HDR of a scene and when I did it only fired one shot, then I pushed the shutter button again and it fired off the under exposed shot, then pushed it again and it fired off the over exposed shot.

So my question is why did I have to do it manually for each shot. I swear when I've done it in the past it fired off all three shots in a row with me only pushing the shutter button once. Did I accidentally change some setting?

BTW, I'd look in my manual but it's in the trunk of my car 3 states away right now.

@raceone: I like the water droplet photo but what is your background? Would work best against a reflective top to give it more of a dramatic feel. Overall looks good.

@IMADreamer: Don't you gotta set the settings to -2/0/2 and it takes 3 pictures at once? I don't got my camera in front of me but I remember that much while I was doing them and I didn't have to push manually each time. I just hit the shutter button once on my remote and it took 3 photos, underexposed, neutral, and overexposed.

Page 121 of manual...bottom of page set drive mode to either high speed continuous (max approx 5.3 shots per sec.) or low speed continuous (Max approx 3 shots per sec.) then hold down shutter button and three bracketed shots will be taken.

Use the high speed mode!

I would also suggest using the timer so you aren't putting pressure on the camera during the shots or just use a remote.

For the water droplets I filled up wok with water. Next rain day I'll try some other things.

The canyon shot was taken with the EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
Aperture f/18.0
Focal Length 20 mm
ISO Speed 100

It's a 3 shot bracket (-1,0,+1) HDR done in Nik's HDR Efex Pro followed up with some PP in Lightroom 3.
