Thank you! and welcome!
The canyon shot was taken with the EF-S17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM
Aperture f/18.0
Focal Length 20 mm
ISO Speed 100

It's a 3 shot bracket (-1,0,+1) HDR done in Nik's HDR Efex Pro followed up with some PP in Lightroom 3.

Why stopped down so far?

The "teepee tops" to the left is the main terminal at DIA, about 18 miles away as the crow flys.

(I should have used the timed shutter or the remote.)

that's a hell of a shot. I for one wish I had that kind of scenery to choose from. Well captured.

Gerry, your background looks a little hot to me. How far off your BG is your model?

I used the beta for a month and purchased the final immediately.

The Basic Panel has some major upgrades to it - ACR7 is fantastic.
I also find I use the Local Adjustment Brush "Shadow" feature a lot too.
For me, everything else was icing on the delicious cake...

its essentially 50% the price of Lr3, which is also exceptional software.

Download the 30 Day free trial of Lr4 and decide for yourself.
