One reason I want to focus on the eyes and not the center of the body for example. If I remember I'll post and example next week when I go out.

Ah, same reason if I was shooting hockey and wanted to focus on the player's face I guess.

I have to agree. I use only the center one. I focus then while holding the shutter button half-way recompose if necessary.

It works I agree myself, but not all the time depending what's going on. Different shooting styles.

Why do you recompose?

Try doing that at f/1.2

Focus and recompose is not reliable with fast glass. I would have no problem doing that at f/4 and beyond.

Phew! Quite a major website customization today. Could any of you please take your time and give me some comments on my website? Specially the ones that already went on my website before, I'd appreciate comments on how you think it is now!

I'll take you not even a minute, thanks a lot :D

Hey David, I checked it out. I like the site. I like it better than the old one.
One thing I wanted to ask though, do you specifically only target French speaking Quebecois? My wife is from the West Island, and although she speaks French, English is definitely her dominant language (she went to English grade school, hs, cjep, uni). It seems like you could get more exposure (no pun intended lol) by having both? But maybe you only want French speakers? Your English is pretty good imo, so I was just curious.

Well, I don't specificaly target French Canadians but where I'm from (and the cities around), almost everyone speak french exclusively. So yeah my main public (and the whole province actually) speaks french (or should/need to).

Oh and to have an English section on my website with Zenfolio I'd need to have a complete second website.

Last thing, I'm getting more referals from word of mouth than from my website. It is used more to show my work than getting clients.

Hi, I'm David.
