Oh, the 10$ set is basically wasted money. You'll used them once or twice and will forget about them.

To close down your aperture, go in AV mode, select the aperture of your choice, hold the DOF preview button (that small button near your lens, where it attaches to the body) and remove your lens while still holding it down. Voila, you'll see the aperture blades.

I want to learn macro photography some time... Any resources anybody can recommend to get me started? Still not sure if I'll try to hop on the 5Dc train or not, but regardless of what I do I want to attempt to get a 100mm macro at some point. Doing what I can now to start working toward saving my pennies up.

Hey guys my friend just posted this to his FB page and thought I'd share. He has some good looking prints in his house, not the best, but not horrible either. I'm thinking for 3.50 I might have a few done up for myself.

Fellow photographers, the place I get all my poster prints is having a awesome sale 20x30 poster for 3.50 each! www.yorkphoto.com (external link) Code = MOVEPOSTER

Spent the better part of today, mixing paint. I felt it necessary to take a 'snapshot' of my pain with this trash can filled with gloves.

Not a day I wish to repeat.

Thanks!
Yes, that's the Tammy. Used the 12mm tube. Going to try some much smaller things, tonight. The MFD gets crazy small, on this lens.

Trees are in full boom, and it's only March... I'm expecting a very warm summer, this year. And...lots of mosquitoes.
