Great job Vin! They came out good I'm sure your client is happy with them :) Just one very very small suggestion, you can kinda see the reflector in the reflection from his glasses in the first shot. Sometimes it can be a bit tough to avoid it, but if you can then it makes it less distracting. It's really no big deal(some prefer the reflection) and you did awesome, especially in the time of day!

yah i kinda noticed that even in the shoot. i'm planning to get rid of it in photoshop once the client select his favorites.

i don't wanna spend time editing all of them. I'm sure he won't pick all of them. I have 224 good shots.

thank you very much though. next time i'll do my best to avoid that. i also had some not bad shots without sunglasses..

the sun cooperates. it's kinda sunny overcast. not so harsh. we shoot from 10:30am to 12:30pm

sweet shot of the moon at f/4, 200mm... taken at dusk? I love deep blue sky moon shots. Processed well too - Lr3/4?

Well done on all. Keep the scar (and blemish) on his arm as they go with the 'working man' look, but try to lose most of the shadow on the folds of his abs, for what its worth...

whats the latest Kris? you could also set it back to factory defaults and shoot in auto - and if you still have blotchy issues - then Huston - we have a problem...

In all the time on this forum, I've not come across such a 60D issue so if its not a peculiar setting - send her back for exchange. As a former 50D owner myself - you simply will not regret the image quality and performance of the 60D... We're all rooting for ya! ;)

I'll try to get some up, but overall the sharpness sucks, it just looks like blobs of color instead of clean fine lines and shapes, and I shot in RAW, f2.8-3.5 with my 70-200 with shutters between 1/800 - 1/2000
I did notice my camera was in "PAL" video mode instead of NTSC. I have no idea what this does, but maybe it could be a contributor?

Upgrade? I don't think it qualifies at one, it's made for astro-photographer only.

But I wasn't aware of it, thanks for letting me know such camera existed ;)

Yeah, it doesn't seem much of an upgrade, I don't know if just that feature is worth the $500 dollars difference from the original one... I'll just wait for the reviews :)

If i have to upgrade with another crop body, i want it with Digic5 with the new AF system... nothings new their except for the astroboys.

The Da isn't an upgrade. As far as I see it's almost exactly the same deal with a sensor more sensitive to H-Alpha light.

Nice shots Vinz, although I think I prefer Rivest's choice of models :-)

Did you use any flash, or just natural light and reflectors to soften the shadows?

Took this over the weekend and various since in quite bright light, anybody who knows about these things want to critique the photo, is it the camera or my screen/eyesight.

Seem very bright to me!!
