sweet shot of the moon at f/4, 200mm... taken at dusk? I love deep blue sky moon shots. Processed well too - Lr3/4?

Thanks Immaculens. It was taken around 6pm or maybe a little later and processed in LR4. I was so surprised how it turned out when I opened it on the computer since it was handheld!

I am very confused with my 60D. I am noticing that when I am taking indoor shots using pop up flush in SS 1/60, F 2.8, ISO 400, I am getting underexposed almost dark pictures. My flush exposure is set to standard. However if I turn the setting to AUTO the camera sets the same settings (SS 1/60, F 2.8, ISO 400) w/flush and the outcome is much brighter. I am using Canon 17-55 Lens. Really confused, can you guys please help me?

Nice shots Vinz, although I think I prefer Rivest's choice of models :-)

Did you use any flash, or just natural light and reflectors to soften the shadows?

just the sun and a reflector. i'm gonna have another photoshoot maybe with few of Ms. Bikini contestants. Still not better than Rivest.

thanks.

The Da isn't an upgrade. As far as I see it's almost exactly the same deal with a sensor more sensitive to H-Alpha light.

That's right, only or astrophotography just like the 20Da was.

If a "friend" of mine gave me that wad of crap because I was trying not to step on another friend's trust...I'd tell him to piss up a rope.

thanks Master and Mircom and Meanderer for replying in the other thread

it is really frustrating because i've always been open about how i shoot what gear i use where and how i got the shot myself

in the end my pro friend is a lovely person who i am sure would have no problem sharing the location, but by the very off chance that she does, she would've misplaced her trust in me when i opened my trap and blabed to everyone where it is

if you guys didn't see the update i made on the thread he replied to me saying he was angry because i referred to the place as "her spot" because i was too lazy to be politically correct and write "it's a place where she shoots a lot of her photos" therefore i've implied she owns it...

Have you used the popup flash to trigger your 430ex?
If that is the case, make sure you turn your wireless commander back to where it was, if you choose the option that only fires the slave and there is no exposure from the pop up flash, you will see the popup flash fire but it will only do it to control your OCF like the 430ex. I hope this helps
