If a "friend" of mine gave me that wad of crap because I was trying not to step on another friend's trust...I'd tell him to piss up a rope.

LOL ~ you so eloquently stated in one sentence what took me a few paragraphs to write... still laughing...

Do you guys ever get sick of people talking smack about the 60D? :( I'm so tired of hearing about how it has a "plastic" body and it's basically a rebel. Whatever, here's some direct sun Orangutan pics...

Well everyone knows, a camera body is not capable of taking good photos if the body is not encased in magnesium...

I had the 50D with its coveted magnesium alloy armor & focus microadjustment... the only time I ever think about is if its suddenly written in front of me. Always remember its only small petty minds who make the argument. They don't deserve our attention. I was happier when I stopped reading such threads, etc.

it makes me wonder how color in everyday shooting may be influenced... a little more red in particular situations? Nothing that modern photo editing could not manage...

bannedPermanent ban

Need help with a few things:

1- The grip is coming up off my 60D in several places, any way to fix this, and has anyone else experienced this?
2- How do you guys motivate yourself to edit photos? I'm making a day of catching up on everything now, but I usually get a week or more of images backlogged, and then edit them, because I procrastinate so much. I just hate spending so much time in front of a computer.
3- This is a VERY general question with a VERY general answer, but for those of you who shoot bands, about how many photos do you come away with from a 45 minute set, and what is your average keeper ratio? Assuming a dark local bar environment...

nah! only the starboyz, maybe. if you love astro photography, that's the camera for you for sure. Goodluck.

as i said couple pages away, if i have to upgrade to another crop body, it must have the Digic 5 processor, the new AF system and better dynamic range. Probably 70D? because i can't use non-vari angle LCD now. i love it.

60Da

Makes you wonder why they didn't pick a prosumer, magnesium alloy clad tank, or Full Frame sensor brimming with big and tall buxom pixels with deep cleavage... After all the stars don't move that fast to challenge the AF...

They picked a Super Rebel...

60Da with the articulated screen! Reach for the stars!:D

Love it!
