Just deciding what lenses I wanted to take shooting with my friend last night and decided to set up my stuff and snap this.

Hello everyone, I think i posted here a while back that i had bought a CLP Canon 60D. So far I'm loving it coming from a Rebel Xsi.
Quick question to those who have one, do you have a grip or not, do you prefer the 60D with it or without it. Also what about straps, hand strap or canon strap?

Depends if you have small hands or large, if you do a lot of portrait style you might like the grip. It also helps balance the camera with some lenses better. If you like straps up to you, I don't like straps. Basically it come down to what you prefer. Go to you camera store and try things out.

Correction. This is the one that I got. AF works, in manual mode (I rarely use any other mode, usually only when shooting candids). You just have to make sure that your Cfn for back button focus is set back to default 0.

I have a meiki grip. I only attached it with a paid photoshoot just to look more pro even if i'm not.

when going to the bar, you don't wanna looked paparazzi so i remove it and just use a prime lens. in short it depends on situations. if you're intro street photography or just walking around with your family, i don't think you need a grip. it takes only a few seconds to change battery.

the straps, you'll be amazed how it makes your camera feels so light.

I have a grip on my 60D. it balances the camera quite well and also I don't need to twist my arm to put the camera into portrait aspect.
