Woke up this morning to a note under my doors, and others scribbled around the house. In the order I discovered them:

I use Adobe RGB as well, more range for print. Are you using the built-in Flickr export thing from Lightroom? I think it converts the file that's uploaded to Flickr to sRGB. I don't have LR on my work machine so I can't check, but I think I remembered seeing that in the export settings for the included Flickr plugin.

For showing the client in the net, i used Adobe RGB. But when printing at Costco, I'm using the color profile of the exact printer to be used onto my print.

the costco color profile is downloadable from their website.

I think it looks pretty good, you could probably have a lot of fun with edits on a set of photography like that. You know, going over the top on vibrance, contrast... making it almost illustrated like a fairy tale.

I agree, that image can be one those crazy photoshop projects without seeming over the top, because it already is . To be honest I would have grabbed it to play if you had image editing on.

Jeremy these are really nice! well done and it looks like the 17-55 is going to be a great addition for you. What are your thoughts so far on the 17-55?

Haven't had a chance to properly evaluate it yet. I'll be in Chicago next week, on an extended weekend away and hope to really play with it. I'll report back with thoughts and, hopefully, a whack load of good shots.

Might do some nighttime skyline shots here in LA this weekend.

I hate not having a pro account on flickr, or a smug mug account. This pic looks so much better on my computer than it does online. What do u guys think of this image. On my computer the eyes really pop.

since you asked for cc. all i can think of is learn the proper way of cropping and composition. youtube could be one of your bestfriend aside from POTN.

I recently got a 60D and am looking for a flash unit. I purchased a Yn565 and had to return it because it was DOA. Now I cant decide between a Metz 50 and a 430EX II. I dont plan to do heavy strobist-type stuff. Just indoor candids. Any suggestions? The Metz is about $100 cheaper on amazon right now.

Wow, I'd say you definitely got it now Kris. How do you like the 60D now that it's working the way you want?
