At one point my camera was not recognizing the Photix (in my grip) but I gave the contacts a very light quick cleaning and voila - no issue. For the price - there are various reputable 3rd party batteries out there and I would not hesitate to get Photix again. I've had others with past DSLRs also - with no issues.
