Vinz try using the recovery slider in lightroom. Love the pic either way. Had to have an orange after seeing your post lol.

it's not actually orange guys. it's Philippine Lime or a citrus fruit. We call it calamansi.

this is.

I'm sorry I was unaware that they removed that feature from LR4. I have not installed it yet. I'm afraid that it will mess up my catalogs. I need to do a full back up before I install it, just in case.
This one looks really good IMHO, you got some of those highlights back.

This one looks really good IMHO, you got some of those highlights back.

The term 'Recovery' is replaced by "Highlights" in Lr4 and still has the same function but the slider - as with all sliders now - start in the middle "Zero" and you can move sliders left (to darken, as with the histogram) or move sliders right (to lighten, as with the histogram). ACR7 improved its processing over ACR 6.X in that it is able to immediately deal with clipped areas by giving them more detail. Nevertheless the new Highlight slider is there for further control. The biggest "Basic Panel" changes are with Clarity, in my mind. I don't think you have anything to worry about for backing up - you can always change your photo(s) back to Process Version 2010 instead of the new PV 2012.
Cheers!

Hi all some great photos on here at the moment.
Went to football yesterday for a practice as I have to shoot a five a side tournament in a couple of weeks. Any way it poured with rain all afternoon and I learnt some new stuff from a few of the pro togs. Here are a couple.

Since I'll be selling the 60D soon, I need to replace my peeling grip problem. I have the link to the Flickr thread but I can't seem to find where to buy the grip. Did not find it on eBay, but I think someone here had posted Canon's phone number from where I could buy it directly.

Any help? Thanks!
