Since I'll be selling the 60D soon, I need to replace my peeling grip problem. I have the link to the Flickr thread but I can't seem to find where to buy the grip. Did not find it on eBay, but I think someone here had posted Canon's phone number from where I could buy it directly.

Any help? Thanks!

Does this help?

Lovely indeed. I'll be a lucky man if i can see a Bluebird in my life. Getting a good photograph would be exquisite.

Is this one going to get more blue as summer approaches?

I'm pretty lucky, I have a lot of them around my cabin. They even have a nest in the roof somewhere. It does seem like they get darker blue as the summer comes, the back and the wings are darker now. A couple of them almost looked turquoise on the heads this last week, I know that will get darker.

How have I murdered my image at 150kb (actually 135kb) versus the larger Flickr kb?

I can defiantly see a difference, I'm at work and don't have a calibrated monitor. The top one's colors are much nicer. I wonder if it might make more difference on a cheap un-calibrated monitor?

Now that I look at it on my monitor at work the difference is more subtle than on my iPad. I think some of that might have to do with Safari vs. Firefox as well since Safari is color managed. For sharing images in a forum I think either is fine. This image compressed very well, I've noticed with really busy images with lots of detail and variation in color they lose a lot more quality when you crunch them down to 150k. I think you also see it a lot in dark gradations, kind of like HD streaming movies vs. Bluray.

Did a shoot with my friend and her son yesterday, then couldn't sleep so I did a quick edit this a.m. around 4:30 since I was excited to see how they turned out. I'll let you give me a little cc and see if you point out the things that bug me too.

Oh, finally it helped a lot! I used them to find the part numbers, than googled it, found a thread on Flickr of some guy saying where he bought it from in Canada, went to that website and found what I needed!

Total with shipping, 30$. I'll report when I get it.

Thanks Mike :) !

my only suggestion, just to slightly lighten up the ladies' face, think she would have a great complexion if I could see it more rather than seeing her in the shadows even though I know she's tilting down. lol <<

Actually David, if you'd looked a little more closely at the Link Mike posted, you'd have seen that they have a section for INTERNATIONAL customers. :)

Ok, well my big concern was that her toes were too close to the border and may have had a little stray sun light hittig her face. She wanted the "playful" candid pic, I hadn't shot it right so her feet were real close. I have one that is better and not so close, so I guess it doesn't matter as long as she's happy right? Anyhow, here are a few more.
