Day 103 - So, my main drive which is 5yrs old (like the one that bit the dust a couple of weeks ago) was about full. Soooooo..... CS5 loads so much more quickly, now. I now have 4.5TB total storage on my photo/email/web PC. The green (Day 91) drive is reserved for backups.

I dont own a 60D but I am pretty sure you have to go into your menus and look for High ISO Expansion and set it to enabled, then your ISO will have a "Hi" setting after the 6400 ISO

the "H"

you must turn the high iso somewhere in the menu i guess. in the menu, the one beside the star. then C.Fn I: Exposure> ISO expansion, turn it on.

Thank-you very much - the 60D can easily do it - its a matter of getting the right light with the right lens. Well, Lightroom 4 always pulls its weight too...

Edit: and being at the right place at the right time - 'gear' cannot offer that either
;)

Can you tell me what the other bird is?

I'm in Utah as well, and I don't think I've seen one like that before? Some type of egret....
