I lived in Berkeley/Albany for 6 years in the early 80s... Lake Berryessa came to mind when I saw the photo...

Very nice Master, the car really jumps out from the background. Finally got around to looking up what defenestration means also, haha.

Honest opinions please, nice shot or an overprocessed batch of suck:

it looks 3D to me. nice one. a little saturation will pop it out more maybe.

I'm thinking I hope we'll all meetup one day and calibrate all our monitors(make it all the same) so we can have one color impressions everytime... unless one is colorblind.

Thanks everyone, I found my way through the guidance of the friendliest thread on the forum! Read some reviews on my monitor a while back (was not purchased for photography) and it was not looked upon highly :)

That blue heron shot is absolute money Mirco!

Thanks... I like the bokeh of my tammy when zoomed all the way, no matter what's my aperture.

Mirco,

What a beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. Your photo is sharp without looking "over processed" and the colors pop, but in a natural fashion. Well done.
