He, I might come to USA tomorrow! Back and forth from Montreal to NYC in the same day! 13 hours of car, only to go buy a lens. I'll have the confirmation today if the lens is sold to me!

C&C me to death please. This is my first HDR. Well, the over-done type of HDR..

&David.. How do you like that 6.5mm? I just picked up the Rokinon 8mm FE a few days ago. Love it so far, but it's all manual, so the metering to the body isn't all that accurate.. How's that working for you?

@Malmarhoon: Welcome! Nice and sharp kitty! Enjoy your new camera!

@Joe: Very nice photo!

I like your timing of the wave to give you the rule of thirds, along with the vertical framing of the pier to give you the upper third. It does make a very pleasing combination to the eye.

A very effective element for the photo is the inclusion of the bch in the foreground. I think that it helps to keep the eye in the picture.

What I would do differently?

I would like to provide more room a the end of the pier for the eye to leap! I would leave some open sea-space, maybe to the vertical third or even sllightly more.

Nevertheless, VERY NICELY done!

Nope, I'll put it for sale once I get it!

Joe, I won't critique your shot since I'm on the iPhone. I'll do that later.

For the 6.5m... It's pure joy! Sure metering isn't always accurate, but use exposure compensation and you'll be fine.

I appreciate your feedback. I was actually thinking the same thing once I got home and looked at the photo. I will leave some more room at the end of the pier next time I'm out there. Thanks again!

Now or nevvvver! Lol.

I did come to the conclusion of using EC with this lens. Wasn't sure if it's a universal thing.. This is my first manual lens: can you you tell? :D
