Congratulations David! First samples are promising!
I wish I could have met you here in NYC, but I am sicker than a dog for 10 days now... Damned cold! I am getting cabin fever as well...

It actually started snowing here for a second while they were performing and had to place the show on hold. I was stuck walking around the place for a few hours in shorts and flippy flops and I still can't warm up. I had no time to do anything else than drive and meet the guy for the lens, I did Montreal - New York (Gardentown exactly) back and forth today, 13 hours of driving.

I only had my 55-250 on me but it was all that I needed anyway from where I was. I only took about 700 for the day (spray and praying the actual tricks, glad I got a nice fps :lol

I spent friday and saturday at an R/C airplane show/event and took over 700 shots friday, and over 900 today with 2 videos. I am HIGHLY suprised at how good the battery is in this camera. After todays shooting, I still have 57% battery left. On my Xti, I would be almost completely out of 2 batteries lol. I am definitely in love with this camera, and everything about it. I cant find 1 thing at all that I dont like. If I got super nit picky, I guess I could say the lock on the mode button is annoying, but I will get used to it I guess. Not quite sure why they would do that... Josh

When you're slinging 2 bodies running around for an event, you'll appreciate that lock button on the dial.. Hello, my name is Joe if you haven't figured it out.
