Is that the Park on the L in the Meat Packing Dist? (14th + 10th)

I believe so :) That's exactly where I got in. This is the park that's on the old railroad bridge.

Just got back from the Bahamas with the GF. Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip.

I picked up the 10-22 for the trip and the thing is awesome. It gives a completely different perspective on things and allows an amazing wide angle view. It has some distortion at 10-12mm, but it does not bother me. The only thing that really made me mad was the fact that a $750 lens did not come with a hood....nice canon

^^Nice pics of the Bahamas. The beach and blue water looks great when it's in the 30's here.

Most people who have used both it and the 24-70L say it's hard to tell the difference between the two...

...except the difference in the thickness of their wallet after each purchase.

I'm thinking I should just go for it...sell my 18-135 and 70-300 and some little things around the apartment and pick up the sigma...I like my 70-200 HSM and it's a lot older =P

Personally, I would get rid of those two for the 24-70 in a heartbeat... :D

My Tamron 70-200/2.8 arrived today... unfortunately, I can't say anything good about it as UPS has taken the liberty of completely destroying it. :~( vmad :~(

Yes, in addition to the taped bubble wrap seen in the video, the lens was also surrounded by additional bubble wrap and the box was filled with foam packing peanuts.

I'm sorry... Are my arms that fat? :o

Haha... Sorry, just trying to lighten the mood... My heart dropped when I heard glass shards moving around inside my new lens packaging... :~(

I feel like I'm mourning... I was really looking forward to a portrait session with it this weekend. :(
