Wondering if I can get any more tips from you guys. I'm heading up there January 3rd, and My train is there at about 4:45 pm. So By the time I get to my hotel and I'm ready to leave to go shoot It'll be about 6PM. I know that the view is better from the Canadian side, so that's where I'm going first. Probably heading up to the Skylon to shoot from the top. Bringing my Tripod and what not, including an ND filter. Any other tips like where I can shoot from from people that know the area or shot there before? Also I need to remember to dress warmly :P

Jan 3 it's going to be pretty frozen over. I was up there last year around the first 2 weeks of January and it was nearly entirely frozen.

you'll see moving water but the majority will be a frozen mass.

also you're going to see a lot of mist/condensation in the air.

Try to get as high up as you can and shoot down on it.

Thanks. I'll go up to the skylon tower.

Checking out the live cam it seems it's not that bad...yet.
