I just came back from a beach holiday. Got lots of salt water and sun lotion on my new retrospective 20. I'm gonna have to wash it.

How should I do this - machine or by hand? Hot or cold water? :)

These might be silly questions, but I just don't want to risk ruining my bag.

I don't think it's meant to be washed. Your best bet is to contact ThinkTank directly and ask them what they advise you to do in order to clean it.

Thanks. I'll do that.

There must be some way to wash it tho. My previous bag (tenba messenger) could handle machine wash.

Their customer service is excellent Sime from Think Tank posts here. Except I haven't seen him for a while.

Well I've mailed their customer service now. I'll copy paste the answer here when I get it.

Anything yet? I just picked up a Retrospective 5(Pinestone) and I'm sure I'll eventually muck it up.
