For RAW, do you let PhotoShop determine the best tint?

I'm slowly getting better about fixing white balance problems, but something that still puzzles me is the tint slider. I know what it does, but I don't know if I should change it or not. It can vary widely between shots that look very similar.

Is it all about personal preference? How many of you fine-tune the tint it after importing into photoshop?

The Tint control is about White Balance -- it either comes out good at "Auto" or it takes some tweaking. Do what is "pleasing", or do a setting, either a preset or use the eyedropper tool on a neutral target.

I tend not to worry too much about white balance and leave the camera on AWB. But I do change the "look" of an image to suit myself, sometimes only a little but at other times massively. And yes, I do ALL my tweaking in Photoshop.

The Tint adjustment can rarely be important in getting fluorescent lighting "just right." Otherwise, I leave it alone even when making adjustment to white balance. YMMV.
