Flash in #2 is a little ''hot'' for me. I like #5. All in all I like what your trying to do here :)

The flash is too much for me in number one, also there is a branch sticking up behind the mom giving her some antlers :)

In the second one the flash is a little low and too much in the corner of the shot for me. Natural light doesn't come from the ground usually so it's distracting when I look at the shot. Out of the group this is the best pose in my opinion. The cropping could be slightly adjusted but the pose is natural.

Number three looks kind of accidental to me. The background takes away from what you are trying to convey in the shot.

Number four is a cool behind the scene shot.

Number five has too much shadow on the face for me and personal preference only for the next comment. I am not a fan of feet so it takes away from the shot, but I know that's a personal thing and not everyone agrees.

The last one is a little crowded in the frame and I'm not sure where to look right away. I like portraits that draw my eye right to the subject.

You asked for C&C so I hope you don't take my comments personal. First time with two subjects in an uncontrolled environment is tough. It takes practice to coordinate two people and keep an eye on the background while figuring out lighting and poses all at the same time.

Thanks, it's my first attempt at a mommy and me, he wasn't really interested, especially outside, it was fairly cold, and he kept wanting to leave. I hope time will get me better at posing multiple people, using the flash, and watching the background all at once.

All the indoor shots are tight, I mostly do colored backgrounds of groups, or black and only had a 53" wide roll of white paper, so it was very tight trying to get 2 people on it posed and framed correctly.
