lol, I blame the auto-correct on my mac. Thank you for pointing it out.

It's not showing as free in the appstore for me.. Is it limited to certain area? I'm in Australia..

Well, the OP said "currently" free, as in maybe it expired with the new year?

All I can say is that, it was still free yesterday. I got my nephew to check it on his iPad as mine would just show installed.

It must be a promo deal.

Yeah, since I do hunt & peck typing. I normally use the Preview Post button first before submitting. But I guess I got tunnel vision on this one.

Hey, I learned the basics of touch typing a bunch of years ago, since my career was actually in computing, but I still miss things, and I don't have a good proof-reading habit, just occasionally!

It was still free in the U.S. app store as of this afternoon. I downloaded it after seeing this thread. Don't know how often I'll use it, but I have plenty of available memory on my iPhone and iPad, so figured I might as well snag it and try it out while it's free!

[EDIT]: I downloaded Snapseed "in the blind" yesterday just based upon the favorable reviews. Didn't realize until this morning when I synced it to my devices that it's made by Nik Software!

I'm sitting in my condo in Hawaii and it is showing full price now. There are so many apps available it's hard to pick the right one. I think I might just hold tight until Photoshop Touch is out for iOs. It's not that I would ever do anything serious with my ipad or iPhone, as someone else said it is more of a fun thing.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I bought it because I got an iPad for Christmas and wanted to play with something besides Angry Birds. And I read it here:

Nik Snapseed is better than the current Photoshop Express, but it's not quite as feature rich as Filterstorm (the overall performance is much better, though).

You really can't go wrong for $4.99. It would be nice if apps had trial periods like desktop software. I wouldn't even need 30 days - you could probably get a good feel for an app in 24 - 48 hours.
