Hey Video folks!

Shot this today while I was home and noticed a ton of birds at the feeder.
Shot at 720p 60FPS with my 7D and Canon 70-200 f/4L

I did as you folks advised and didn't fade out from each clip into the next.

What do you think? Not a crazy video, but some may like it.
A few clips I slowed down in Vegas as you can tell. Seems to be nice and smooth.

Let me know what you think, and what I can do better!

A lot better effort this time out!

damn those buggers are really fast! How much did you slow down the clips? What setting in Vegas? It kind of looks like you could have slowed them down just a touch more.

Also, did you try and get closer yet to them? Or even try a 1.4x TC to help punch right in on them. The only thing missing was a really tight shot or two. But it makes for an interesting study of these creatures behaviors.

I was also shocked by how many Chickadee videos are on YouTube! And I though cat videos were King.

Thanks Chas!

They are crazy fast, I slowed it down with the Velocity envelope 45%. Not all the clips were slowed down, but a few were. I dont have a TC, so I was maxed out with the 70-200. :(

My Tamron 1.4 TC is an old one that won't work with my current body and lenses as a still AF device, but since you don't use AF for video with these cameras, it works perfectly with my 70-200 f4L. It turns it into a f5.6 lens, but for out door shoots it works out fine. Kind of a fun toy to play with.

Nice I will look around for one of those! Always nice to have a little more reach!
