I hope not. I'd hate to see a decent pentaprism squeezed to accommodate an "iffy" flash.

As long as this thread is titled... anyone see any reliable rumors? Canon Rumors says it will ship in April, but I haven't heard much else. Better noise, higher ISO, but I hope no pop-up flash — I'd have to save for a 1DX.

I've read somewhere the pop up flash will be capable of illuminating the moon.

The only reason to include one would be to facilitate a wireless flash controller.

Pop-up flashes are a poor compromise born out of marketing. The only reason they were put on cameras in the first place was to make them more appealing to the average consumer.

If it were up to me, no camera would have them...

Why would you want a pop up and not use an external? Buy a 60d or similar.

I surely don't want a pop up flash in $3500 body.
