Composite.
They shot the fireworks from at least 6 hotel rooftops on the Strip.

Canon 5D MkIII powered through the following Canon lenses: 16-35 f2.8 L MkII, 24-70 f2.8 L MkII, 70-200 f2.8 L MkII, 17mm TS-E f4 L, 24mm TS-E f2.8 L MkII and 85mm f1.2 L MkII.

Those are shots from Vegas hotel rooms on New Year's Eve and being as such, I am sure are accurate views (as opposed to captures) for many that were there if you know what I mean. :cool: In addition, the lack of motion blur is a testament to the photographer's skill.  :p
