I have a problem and I hope all you good people her can help me. I have a 20D that for some reason has stopped working. It was fine, everything worked, when I came home I put it in my camera bag. The nxt day it was completely dead. I have charged the battery, tried switching lenses etc. I have tested the battery and it puts out power as it should but my camera still doesn´t get a reaction, nothing. I wounder if I should just trough it away or send it to canon. ( I don´t want to spend a lot of money on it when I can get a used one for more or less free). Any ideas?

Oh, and sorry for my bad spelling ;-)a

Do you have another battery you can try? Tried changing the date/time battery out? Cleaning the contacts?

If it's the original battery trying a new one is your best first step. Take it to a good camera store and ask if they have a battery you can use to test with.
