I bought a 3880 about 8 months ago and just love it! Went up from a 2200 that had those tiny carts, switching it over to refillables with 7 black shades for printing B&W prints. I also converted my 3880 over to refillable carts about a month ago, saving bucks on ink, and not throwing away any more empties! Love this printer!

Mine is just short of a year old, loving it too! About six weeks ago I converted over to refillable carts and Cone Inks. Saving money and stopped adding the empties to the dump! Using the same profiles I was using with the Epson inks. Upgraded from a 2200 and was really impressed with the first 16X24. Also love the B&W prints, never liked any of the B&W prints I had done in the past on color printers, got me back to my roots. I print way TOO much!

Really want to do some IR, did some IR film in the 70's, pain to process but loved some of the images! Who did your conversion? Is it really necessary to have it calibrated with a single focal length lens for accurate focusing? Too many questions.
