Well I may as well throw my hat into the ring and post some shots from the Renault Winter Series at Croft

All shot with Canon 1D MKII and Canon 300mm f2.8

The track was a bit damp early on

and the low sun was causing problems also

a dry line started to appear

then somebody goes and drops oil all over the corner

which makes it a little slippy
bracing for impact

Luckily no injuries and very little damage

Great stuff Ian... #7 is very dramatic... but I'd say the wobbly wheels make #1 my fave ;)

Nice set of shots Ian, particularly #1. Captured the moment of impact with the Spitfire well. Those two marshalls didn't half stand their ground to the absolute last minute before getting out the way. The thought of the stagnant water from the tyre barriers would have been enough to get me moving!

Cheers,

Simon.

Great photos Ian. The wobbly wheels has my vote but I also like the timing of the shots in #6 and #7

Yep, number one is the keeper. Love it!

Is that Vaulkhard in the 44 Sierra? Looks a bit oversteery to me :D

They're all great but 1 and 2 rock my sock(s). LOL

Excellent work, Ian. I love the Ginetta going in backwards! :)
