(I wont be surprized if one day Nikon and sony merge) The high ISO sensitivity is a plus and the image quality seems pretty good. The most important piece of gear you own, resides in your head and its called your brain.

The things i dont like are: Max sync speed of 1/160 and only 3 cross type AF sensors. No top LCD, plastic hot shoe and 0,8x VF magnification. But with a price comparable to the 600D, i wouldnt expect all of those things. the sony would win hands down for me if it had a higher flash sync speed. For the price looks like a nice camera though! Because it has the real mirrir that moves out of the way as apposed to the SLT cameras with the fixed translucent mirror.
