Overall, very nice. Don't like the crop of the first 3. Half a head, half a hand, half an elbow. #4 and #5 are excellent. #6 would be my favorite but you cropped half an elbow again. jmho.

Only posted 5 images bw! but thanks for the CC. These were my very first studio shot about a year ago. Never had the chance to share the series. Agree though most of these could definitely use better compositions. I brought primes on a studio so I was either shooting very, very long (135) or very very wide (35) lol.

Very good work for just 1 light. Did you PP the skin or is that just her skin all silky smooth lol?

Thanks. Yeah, I was just shooting there, no idea how to pose a model at all. She has very good skin, but 135L's sharpness brings a lot more flaws so its skin smoothening was applied.

Tight headshot (2nd image) and the third one are clear winners for me. 135L is such an awesome studio lens. Great job on those eyes too.

I like the right shot of the 2nd image the best, but the skin looks slightly oversharpened. Lighting is great! Ever since my wife showed me a video on youtube of asian girls transforming their eye with makeup, fake contacts, double eyelid, etc I can't help but notice it all the time lol...
