Canon 70-200 2.8L II for $1499? Canon 70-300 IS for $229?

No legit seller can undercut B&H / Adorama by this much.

I know these deals seems tempting but save yourself the headache and spend the extra $100 or so and go to a reputable dealer.

The easiest way to tell that a site is 100% a scam is to find their Authorize.net/verified by visa/paypal verified/etc logo and make sure that you can click on the logo, and it takes you to a page on the verifying corporation's domain. If they are just pictures and not links, then they are not actually verified by those companies, and are scamming somebody somehow.

However, on the other side, just because they are verified by visa or whatever, does not make them a 100% legit site. But it does take a bit of doing to be verified by those companies, and scammers usually do not go through the hassle.
