Both the T90 and the EOS line use electrical, not mechanical, cable releases. The T90 uses a (IIRC) Canon T3 connector; the 5D2 uses an N3 style connector. Not sure where you'll find a cable release with the T3 connector, but B&H might stock them; there are plenty of releases that take the N3 connector. See, amont other places, the POTN Shop (link at the top of the page). Any cable release that works on the 20D, 30D, 40D, 5D, or the 1D series will also work on the 5D2. The releases that work on the Digital Rebel (EOS ##0D models) won't. Canon did make a series of adapters between the T3, N3 and E3 (Digital Rebel style) release connectors, but they're pretty expensive.

i have some remote shutter like the Giga T Pro II for Canon and others

but in short if i understood well there is no way to use an old style remote release for my canon
the more old style could be for example a simple remote like Vello RS-C2

Right - that has the N3 connector your 5D2 needs. I see that B&H also still lists the RS60-T3 (external link) your T90 needs, if you're still interested.
