Mummers 2012

Heres a few shots from the Mummers parade here in Philly. It's an annual parade held on New Years Day. I didnt take many photos this year, but here are a few.

Nice shots, but what the hell is a "mummer"? From the costumes, I'd say they're a cross between zombies, pirates and clowns. No insult intended, that's just what I see.

Nice I like 3 & 4. Being from 2 St I shoot alot on New years. You have a great shot of my niece's boyfriend playing the sax. As to the response of what's a mummer I gave up explaining you have to see it and you still will not understand it unless you live it. Here is the link to my day on 2 st.
