Very cool Jason!! The presentation looks awesome. Did you print these yourself or did you use an online printer?

Thank you Joby.

I do my own printing and dry photo mounting.

Looks awesome Jason! :) What are the finished sizes of your prints...? Just curious...

Thank you.

The two abstracts in the 16x20 frame are 8.5x11, the others were printed on leftover 11x17 paper from school, cropped a little and mounted in 16x20 frames.

Nice work Jason and good choice of frames.

You also made me want to get to work today. I saw your post earlier on my phone and they looked good but I wanted to see them on the PC before commenting.

Looks good, Jason!

How did you mount the abstracts onto the mounting board? Are the prints framed as well?

Very nice work Jason. The one on the right is one of my favorites of yours.

I'm finally hanging some of my pictures, umm, the ones I'm allowed to display.

Anyway, here is a representation, however, not as attractive as Matt's displays and his wonderful captures of his displays, it'll give you an idea...and sorry for the reflections.

Thank you Kristy, PINNACLE, Geno and Hank, much appreciated.

Geno: In regards to the single 16x20 frame with the two mounted similar abstracts, yes, they are framed. Frames are generic cheapies one can get at Rite Aid and Aaron Bros. in the US. I really like these document frames since they have a very small and thin frame.

Mounting the frames to the mounting board: At this point, frame placement measurements had already been performed and notated using a T-square and one metal ruler. These 8.5x11 frames have built-in portrait and landscape mountings, so I taped in two 1/2" locking screws with heads inside the frame--business end facing outward. With outward facing screws, frames were placed back onto mounting board for careful alignment. Marks were made where the screws need to go through the mounting board. Holes are made into the mounting board, then lined with some masking tape to help cut down degradation of the hole. Now, the frames are placed onto the mounting board with the screws going through the holes, then washered on the other side and lightly tightened with locking nuts. Another re-alignment, a little fudging and I'm happy. Final step, some two-sided tape and then the final tighten of the nuts (that does not sound right at all....). Done, and it actually came out good. Not pretty nor efficient, but it worked.

Thanks for the explanation, Jason. I have a few frames on order that should be ready on Friday. Wifey has redone the living room (the room that gets no use) and decided to use a few of my photos. Furniture's coming Saturday then we (I mean she) is going to decide if my piling shot from last week is going into the room or not. :)

BTW, did I miss the announcement that this week's theme is "Portraits"?

Just peeking in to see how you are all doing!

Loving the paternity leave and playing with Alexander a tonne. Totally sleep deprived :D The weird thing is that I am enjoying spending time with him so much, that I have hardly taken a photo!!

:( I hope you guys do well on Monday morning... I remember crying when I had to leave my oldest in daycare as a baby... it was difficult letting go. I think it's one of the hardest things we have to do as 1st time parents... Of course, most everyone has to do it sooner or later..

Hope you've enjoyed your paternity time.. :)
