** peeks in.... looks around**

Hi? lol. am I allowed in? WOWZA! Everyone has been shooting and posting and shooting and talking.. I spent the last 21.5 minutes reading back through the last few days of posting.

Love your fall set Harm! Gorgeous color. we don't get anything so amazing here, but we hope for it just the same. ;)

Joe, Joe, Joe! Joe is back from his sabbatical. Nice work with the film mister.. and I like your new "muse" of a table. That starfish shot is awesome.

Tim turning into Jason and making B&W art images of highlight and shadow... and Jason got a new camera...!! Addy growing faster than a weed... and Jon still shooting awesome journalism of her... (and his wife still wears her jersey..lol**wink**)

And Allen still making me wish I could be an awesome street journalist living in Chicago... Good stuff around here.. Joby still playing with film I presume? I didn't see a posting.

Good stuff. :)

I photographed some leaves on a hike in Sedona on Sunday.... lol.. You'd think I would have come home with more than just this. I wasn't inspired otherwise... so weird.

Jon that's a nice set of images. The critters are fun. The family is special.

I don't usually touch someones work let alone someone here but this image just calls out on so many levels. I will take it down in a day or two. Hopefully you will see it. Her hands and the reflection make one rather amazing statement. Her physical self viewing into her deeper spiritual self, etc. It's a dandy shot. Hope you don't mind. If I hear the shotgun chamber a round ...

No problem...I like it.

Thanks for the comments and the crop. I might change mine....;)

This was a fun surprise.
I had been viewing this new table in the west forty and yesterday took a couple of very available props and made this image in the late afternoon light.

Welcome back and nice shot....

Thanks for the nice words you guys.... I always feel guilty when I am gone for a long time.... I appreciate the friendships here very much.

It's been a busy month with going to California to celebrate my dad's 70'th birthday, Emily having her 1st high school Homecoming dance, and then her birthday. I went to the fair with some friends to shoot all the night time colors with slow shutter speeds, and then Sedona last Sunday.... busy.. lol!

I don't want to bombard with too much sharing but here are a few things if you are interested...

My dad being goofy with my sisters and me..

Nice photos, Kristy. It certainly would be great to photograph a ferris wheel. I just need to find one with lights all over it now!

I like your smugmug site too. I haven't checked what other people's smugmug sites look like since they revamped everything.

Thanks Harm! The ferris wheel was pretty fun.. I have tons of images... just need time to go through them all.. haha.. I picked my faves off the top to process.

Thanks about the smugmug. I keep thinking I want it to be black, but I went with white for a crisp, clean feeling. I might end up changing it.. hahaha. Did you update yours yet? I need to go and peek... :)

erm....

I think I tagged photos (in mega batch format). Rather than have 92850943534 different key words, i kept them as few as possible to help guide people :D

as in Organize Site - click on the spanner/wrench for the edit tool, click on "captions and keywords".

add words to your "keywords". Then I make sure each gallery is "clean", so you don't see any of these words when looking at the picture, but they will turn up in the cloud...

oh, and I assume you know how to add the cloud to your search section. Oh, and in the customisation of the site itself, you can state how many keywords show up on the cloud. So if you went with 10000, your cloud will be a big mess, so I think I limited mine down to 70 or something like that.

Kristy. Greetings! That's a nice set. Your dad is one lucky guy and he knows it! I've been enjoying your southwest landscapes. That last one is really unique and absolutely lovely. Nice work. The carnival rides of late are interesting too.

You know you could make a living walking into a room with that smile of yours. I'm here to offer you joy!

What do you get when you put Jeff Beck on stage with Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys? Probably one of the best shows I have seen in years. It was amazing. The BB's played all their top hits and it was hit after hit. Jeff Beck is by far one of my favorite guitarists. They also played together and the music was fresh and original. An awesome show. The last shows are in Akron, Toronto, Detroit, and Milwaukee.

Wow that's really nice. Great capture. Acros 100 is my first choice.

Thanks. I love Acros. It is a shame that Fuji is raising prices every chance they get!

Thanks Allen. I agree. I'm looking for more sea creatures to shoot. I want to find a whole fish next. A crab would be cool.
