the camera will be dusted off shortly for the summer to get photos. I am still lagging from last october's photos to sort and process. this whole MBA thing is 2 days a week, then add in papers, assignments etc., and i have no time to do any photos!!

So between classes late in august or something, we are looking to come down to Savannah. any tips on where (where not to stay) and any thing we should look out for?

Obsessed with smoking them or photographing them? Although neither is a bad thing in my opinion.

All I want is just a little more than I'll ever have.

Smoking them. The picture was only for testing purposes with my new Nikon.

Ave Maria Argentum is my favorite; slow burning, full of flavor and super smooooooth. Fricken love 'em. The Gurkha Yakuza (main stogie in the picture) is a heck of a lot better than i thought it would be; Gurkhas are a love 'em/hate 'em thing. Also dig Cohiba Black, 5 Vegas A, La Gloria Cubana Serie N, Diesel Unlimited Maduro and even a Cohiba knock-off which is both cheap and tasty...

sorry.

I'll let Jon chime in too, but I thought I'd toss in my 2 cents. Where will your classes be, and what kind of place are you looking to stay in? There are some nice places along the Savannah River, but they're rather pricey too. Granted, it's been several years since I've been down there, but make sure you take in River Street while you're there. Some nice photo ops along there. If you're into history and cemeteries, there is a nice historic old cemetery that's supposed to be a good place to photograph. It's on my list for the next time I go down. If you have time, try to get out to Tybee Island

BTW, to catch up on a few other posts... congrats on the exhibit and magazine!! That's awesome, Allen!

Jon, it's been fun to watch your little Addy grow up through your photos. That's one of the cool things about following along with some folks on forums for a few years. We see kids grow up (Harm & Jon), people get awards & recognition (Allen among others), and get to watch others skills develop and expand. You guys are a cool group to hang out with!

Jason, you can keep your cigs, though... I don't mind the photos but can't handle the smoke! ;-)a

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

I would stay down near the river walk. You can also find some nice places around the many town squares.

I love love LOVE the river walk area.
