been a while since i posted. heres some recent DII basketball

i have been busy with lots of video shoots and sports events past few months but here are a few recent shots from the past few days. i have given up on whitebalance in my gym and just try to get as close as i can. i know that its not perfect lol. enjoy :)

Good timing, but the all look under-exposed on my calibrated monitor.

Underexposed here as well and soft, lot of noise, especially in the last one.

Wow, guess it's entirely possible that a D2 college venue has WORSE lighting than half the HS gyms I've shot at.

I see your dilemma and it's evident in your pics. Bad light, extremely high ISO settings, poor color rendering, dark zones on the floor. Really bad conditions.

i make do with what i have. its tough but i get by. its not possible with the equipment i have to get nice clean photos but these are better than nothing at all. this gym has had the same lighting setup since the 70's and was never thought to actually host basketball games much less with a really good DII team. the gym was originally a roller skating ring
