Was wondering what strap people are using. I have been using the Canon strap that came with my XSi and now the one that came with my 40D. The strap cuts my neck after only a little while and I end up just carrying the camera in my hand. What strap would provide some padding and be more comfortable to wear?

I hate straps, but if I do use one, I use the Black Rapid.

Crumpler, Industry Disgrace, for neck strap. Super comfy and padded. You can even hook in a small CF/SD card holder.

Thank you for the 3 photos of your strap... being a strap :)

I should have taken a pic of the 400 f/2.8 / 1D III hanging from my door by my black rapid :D

Love the bandolier style.

I just ordered the Black Rapid RS 4, it looks great as do the reviews.

The Black Rapid line is at http://www.blackrapid.com/product/camera-strap/rs-7/ (external link). My only aversion to the Black Riad is the attachement point being solely the tripod mount. With many bodies being plastic or polycarbonate I wonder about possible long term effects. Keep in mind that the tripod mount is not designed for tension that varies as one walks.

Anyone with several years of experince with a Black Rapid "sling"?

You know that RS4 does not come with the BRAD strap.

RS-Sport 2 has the BRAD strap and i think it has better contour design for neck and chest.

BlackRapid RS-7. I love it. I've had no issues with varying tension while walking. It stays right at my right hip, it doesn't swing all over the place. I also don't let it just drop back down on its own.
