Wouldn't bother me. I say get it! The scratch will be OOF anyway, there's NO way would see it in the pics.

It looks in as good condition as my 100-400 that's only 6 months old and hardly used. The IQ is superb with my lens and it's sharp as a tack. However, if I could of got the same lens for a £100 cheaper by having a tiny scratch that didn't make any difference to the IQ I would have got that one instead. From the picture you can hardly see it anyway.
