Took a couple of hibiscus potted plants in from the Florida "cold" last night, and one of them was so happy to experience indoor heat it flowered:

T3i with 100mm 2.8 Macro, ISO 800. f/11 for the first two, f/18 for the last one to try to get some DOF. 0.6 sec, 0.8 sec, and 3.2 sec exposures, using on-board flash to fill in a bit. Used a 10sec delay to eliminate camera shake from me hitting the shutter (could have used a bulb, I suppose).

No color enhancement, just slight brightness adjust on the first couple photos, and mild USM after resizing. First one cropped for balance.

A bit of PP cloning/healing: There was a hot pixel or two, and apparently the lens could use a cleaning.

Thanks. It's quite the challenge getting interesting bokeh (or other out-of-focus elements) while keeping enough DOF to capture enough of the subject-at-hand.
