Penn Camera in Chapter 11 (MD,DC NoVA area)

Penn camera just filled for Chapter 11. They have closed all but 3 branches already. No word yet on the inventory sale.

I cant say this is a surprise though; I have been buying from them since the mid '80s. and thier customer experience has been going slowly down hill since then. And they have done prety much zero to keep up with the times. They have become a last resort to buy from rather than a "go to" option.

Its sad, but its thier own fault as far as I can see.

That explains why their inventory seemed to be so low last Friday--but no mention of problems from the staff. Not many places to choose from in NoVa now. What a shame.
