First High school basketball game!

Ive really wanted to get into sports photography and this is my first attempt.
C&C is always appreciated. I know in some of the pictures there are parts cut off. im working on that. only had my 85 1.8 should of brought my other gear.

Nice sharp images. In my opinion, #4 doesn't tell me anything and #5 needs a tighter crop.

I like #5 a lot.

This is a great start to sport photography for your first outing. Two things I would suggest. First is get down on the floor to shoot and shoot up at the players. This make the player look bigger and more intense. Most of these look like they are shot from the stands. Second is shoot tighter and crop even tighter on the action. On your fifth shot there is no reason to see any of the players except the shooter and the defender #12. Way to much floor showing under the players. Agian an awesome start, great exposure, sharpness etc.
