Sigma 70-200 showing as wrong lens on EXIF?

Ok, so I was looking through the EXIF data on some pictures I took from last weekend, and for some odd reason, my sigma 70-200 F2.8 is showing up as a sigma APO 50-150 f2.8 II EX DC HSM instead of what it actually is. what could cause this?

HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'image/gif' | Byte size: ZERO | PHOTOBUCKET ERROR IMAGE

I'm sure the EXIF data is fine, whatever you're using to interpret / read it is the issue.

check with opanda iexif or open it up in PS/LR/etc...?

look in your camera's menu, peripheral illumination correction... should identify what lens is mounted
