Oh wow, I'm surprised!! I was having a hard time coming up with something for this theme, and I noticed the tracks the rain left on my car window as I was heading to work and thought it might work for a shot. I took the camera and macro lens the next morning since it was rainy too and got that shot while sitting at a traffic light. :-)

There were so many cool images this week. I didn't envy you Mo. Garry, I liked your shot as soon as I saw it. Pinnacle, yours made me smile every time I saw it. Kevan, the good ol' vinyl was a nice interpretation of the theme too and a cool shot to boot.

Thanks for the nod Maureen, and congrats to Garry and Kevan and teekay!

Next challenge is up. Have fun finding out what the shadows know...

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Terrific mood photograph, Lisa. A nod of thanks to our judge, and a hearty congrats to my fellow finishers. A regular museum gallery of stellar entries this week.

I have an old Kinks "You Really Got Me" mono album, somewhere in the house, that I would have preferred shooting. I'm pretty sure it was a first release, given to me by my "too cool" cousin. He lived a little too hard and died way too young. I kinda turn nostalgic when I start thinking up such ideas as this shoot. Instead, I used this Beatles import my parents gave me one Christmas, long ago, when I had hair and braces. This was a fun challenge; I don't think I would have ever taken such a shot otherwise.

Congrats to lavanut and to Maureen for choosing a subject that produced such a wide variety of really good, eye-opening interpretations!
