This wonderful owl has been creating quite a stir in Southern Ontario since it showed up a couple of weeks ago.

I can't think of anything that could make that capture any nicer Scott, unless you wanted to clone out a few small branches near him.
That is one impressive bird!

I'm sorry....is it just me, or does Ontario have the corner on owls?

Amazing photograph.

Heck with photographing one, I'd simply like to see one around these parts, of any kind. I occasionally hear'm, but seeing'm...almost never.

Oh, my goodness, but that is a stunning photograph; one could not wish for a better one. Good for you!

Thanks Steve, I thought about removing the small branches but then didn't. Perhaps I should and see how it looks. I appreciate the critique, which is always helpful.

We are fortunate around here. We have a Snowy about five miles from the house but no great photo ops yet!

Thanks Andrew. This was the first one I've seen up close since I was a kid so it was a real treat.

I hope you find her waiting Daniel. Bring all your gear. I used a 24-105, 70-200, 400, 500 & 700mm plus my iPhone and got good shots with all of them :)

Wow! That's great Andrew. I missed out by coming to Florida. Hopefully they will be around when I return.

Great pic, that bird is 2 minutes from my home. He's been getting lots of attention.
