A Sampling from Ecuador!

Hey all,

Just got back from a couple weeks of backpacking through Ecuador during the holidays. Figured I'd post a few shots of my work from the trip.

A Mountain vista from Cotopaxi National Park:

It is. I believe that was 30 seconds at f/9 at about 4:00 in the afternoon. I was using a 10 stop Lee Big Stopper. as well as a 3 stop ND grad (soft)

Cool. At glance it doesn't make sense to an inquiring mind; bright daylight scene with moving clouds. Thanks for sharing your technique.

I was in Ecuador 15 years ago.

Sadly, I wasn't into photography back then...

Thanks! In all the time I've been working in photography and have been travelling with a camera, this is probably the single happiest I've ever been with a set of pictures. Feels good to get them right lol

I appreciate that! Like I said, feel free to head to my website. There are about 45 shots there in total from the trip. You'll find some other S. American stuff and lots from Europe and elsewhere there too.
