Don't let your tail drag at the Kenai River, Alaska ferry crossing.

You aren't kidding, not exactly the "Secret Fishing Hole" is it. This is as we put in last year at the same place. Fish counts were down that week (~early August) so it wasn't too crowded :-)

Well its a 17 year old Tricast 14M pole, so no I cant take it back
I could look into a repair, but I reckon it could be time to invest in something a bit more modern

Its not that hard, I have a page showing how: http://www.fisheadtackle.com/repair_rods.html (external link)

very interesting, not sure it would apply as its the no.5 section of a 14m roach pole

Well give me a call and I will give you a tour.

I'm surprised on the alaska pics, I would have thought you could get away from the crowd up there.

So far all the rods I fixed are holding up, you don't even know its been repaired. I did my 10' crappie rod last year.

You have a deal, be over in about 18 months I hope, it looks stunning there.

Have to admit I would be looking for something a bit quieter in Alaska!!

Thx. That was a nice fish, nice enough to hit my lure; and I was a nice fisherman and let him go as I do with all my fish.
