I was able to shoot for an hour (3-4pm) at Black's and the conditions were really good but not as big as Surfline hyped it up to be. I looked at Sunset Cliff's and it was definitely bigger and there were some serious bombs rolling through. Tough lighting as one had to shoot into the sun so I took a gamble and trekked (not looking forward to the hike) to Black's. I posted at the bottom of the driveway and shot at South Peak for an hour and had a blast. I could hear the guys screaming in the lineup as the bombs came thru and folks were pushing into waves. It was way to big for me and will probably go out for a surf on Sunday as the swell drops.
