Bald Eagle Incoming!

We were following an Eagle around right before Christmas as he was flying above the lake. Then we noticed he turned our way and started heading directly as us. Below are two of the better shots I captured during the sequence in which he landed on the boat dock we were standing beside. Enjoy

7d. 600mm. f/4. iso 400. 1/3200. handheld.

Well done. I like the brighter colors in #1 but the open beak, (coming in screaming?) is pretty cool

Fantastic shot....around the pacific Northwest...we have bald eagles this time of the year but the light/sun sucks...I am envious of your guys in Florida...nice shot with the blueness intact and the colors of the eagle right there...perfect... jim
